Dolphin: symbol Teaches Communication Harmony, Freedom, , Trust

The Dolphin can teach us much about playfulness, and harmony with others. Dolphins have a strong sense of community with each other as well as the world around them. Their communication skills are extraordinary, and one can see that these skills indicate an intelligence which has also been associated with healing and perhaps a higher consciousness. A totem is any natural or mythical animal to whom you feel a close connection during your life or some particular period of your life. The energy of the totem animal speaks to you in some way that is relevant to your own personality or circumstance in life.

The totem is connected to your spirit.

Native peoples of many countries have animal spirits that play a very important part in their lives. In Chinese astrology all the signs are animals and in western astrology most of the signs are animals. By getting to know your animal totem, you can gain insight and understanding of your own life circumstances more clearly, and share in the totem power or 'medicine'. Because of this friendliness to man, dolphins represent the peace, harmony, and tranquility that can be achieved in life. of their intelligence and playful ways, dolphins are one of Mother Natures most fascinating creatures.
